    Hello!
Difficult to specifically answer your question because the age of the child has not been mentioned. I am not sure if this description is for a 4 year old or 12 year old!
Below the age of 3, I wouldn't consider this as a problem. If your child is above 6 and the complaints have also been pouring in from school, it would be better if a psychologist personally assesses him/her. Hyperactive is a technical term used only for children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD). Your child may be overactive as he or she appears to have high activity levels. Depending on his/her age enrol your child for some physical activity which will tire him or her.
If it is 'sometimes' angry, isn't it ok? Aren't we all sometimes angry? What is important is how your child expresses anger. Hitting and hurting others or self is not allowed. He should be allowed to sulk for a while, sit in a corner, punch a pillow or squeeze a ball. This is where you need to set limits. All children are pampered till an age. But as a parent we also need to be firm without being harsh. Set limits which have to be followed. Let there be consequences for behaviour, both positive and negative. Basically children need to understand that any behaviour will not be tolerated and that they have to bear the consequences of their actions.
